Biography

Dr. Jennifer Walsh earned her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine from North Carolina State University College of Veterinary Medicine in 2009. She completed a one-year rotating internship followed by a three-year residency in Emergency and Critical Care at University of Pennsylvania Ryan Veterinary Hospital. In 2013, Dr. Walsh became board-certified by the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care (DACVECC), a distinction held by less than 400 veterinarians worldwide. She has worked exclusively in emergency and critical care settings for over 15 years, managing everything from routine urgent care to complex life-threatening conditions. Dr. Walsh is particularly skilled in trauma management, toxicology, respiratory emergencies, and post-operative critical care. She serves as an emergency consultant for several general practice clinics and regularly provides continuing education on emergency preparedness for veterinary teams. When not saving lives in the ER, Dr. Walsh enjoys running, hiking, and spending time with her family and their two dogs, a Labrador mix and a Greyhound rescue.
